好吧,我扔掉了我原来的“关于我”,决定做一个更新!2008年12月18日,我加入了Livestrong,并记录了我的卡路里摄入量,决定要减掉50磅。我变得强壮起来,多亏了我的勇气,跟踪我的食物和决心,到2009年8月5日,我总共减掉了68磅。从那以后我一直保持着,所以这绝对是我的唱片!!我要在目标体重上再坚持5年,我喜欢它!我不认为这是理所当然的,因为它仍然是一种新奇的感觉!今年圣诞节,尽管我仍然记录了每一口食物,但我允许自己在几天内多吃一些。我很快就长了4磅。现在是2014年1月23日,我已经减掉了3磅。最后一项需要更长的时间,但它也将很快下降。 I am now 66 years young, and ride my bicycle 16 miles 3 or 4 days a week. We also hike, our longest being 8 miles in Oregon at Silver State Falls. In August this year, my dear hubby and myself did our GOAL ride, a 50 mile ride on one day. We only stopped for a picnic lunch along the Sacramento River and to take occasional pictures. I am rather strict with myself. Some people ask why after all this time I feel I need to track all my intake still. Well, because I'd lost this weight twice before in my lifetime and could never keep it off. Christmas showed me how easy it would be for me to revert back to old habits. I have NO intention of gaining any back, period! One of the benefits of me losing 68 lbs is that I came off two blood pressure pills, one diuretic, and a prescription potassium. And just recently I came off my statin for high cholesterol. Good luck to everyone on here....... stay focused, don't make excuses for not doing what you know you want to do..... and be determined to do it! You CAN!!!!!!!
